Meet Victoria Ipsen, LCSW
In the very first session I’m often telling couples, “I want to meet you before I meet your problems.” I work from a strengths-based approach where I learn about your interests, what brought you together, and your good times before we delve into where you went off track.
I search out hope. I believe most problems are solvable and that each of you has within you the capability to be a great and active partner in a healthy relationship. There’s no magic wand for this type of process and often it takes time, hard work, and resolve to face tough realities and commit to traveling them together. My role is to help you navigate whatever path lies in front of you with humility, kindness, empathy, and even a little bit of humor if possible. I’ve seen countless couples repair their relationship and move forward, stronger and better together.
