“I have been in therapy off and on for most of my life since age 11.  Each time it was to deal with the “tragedy” or “crisis” at hand. Those times in therapy served their purpose.  The tragedy/crisis at hand was addressed, coping skills taught and healing happened.
However, I was still always searching.  I wanted to get to the core of my maladaptive coping strategies, learn what I was doing wrong at this game called life, and just be a better human, overcoming and stopping the generational trauma.  I hit rock bottom and landed in Lisa’s office.
She is skilled, knowledgeable and versed in a variety of life’s issues and how to handle them.  She is tough. She doesn’t let you get away with anything.   I have never strongly disliked and at the same time been so grateful for a therapist/counselor.  She pushes, holds a mirror, guides and gives praise appropriately.  Because of my time with her, I now can say that I have a “peaceful soul.” I am no longer surviving but I am thriving with more confidence and I am better equipped to navigate life.
If you are looking to get pushed.  If you are looking to face yourself and improve what you may not like.  If you are looking to grow, heal and ultimately be a better person, then I highly recommend Lisa.”
